Guide Sumyro
Invite teammates
Invite people to an organization and manage invitations that are pending or expired.
Invitations give a person access to the active organization with the role you choose. They are sent to one email address and must be accepted with that same address.
Before you start
- Switch to the organization you want the person to join.
- Open Settings → Members.
- Confirm that Invite members is available to you.
- Choose the role carefully; it determines what the person can access after joining.
Send an invitation
- Select Invite members.
- Enter the person's email address.
- Select one of the roles available to you.
- Select Send invite.
The person receives an email with instructions for joining the organization. The invitation also appears under Pending invitations.
Manage a pending invitation
Open the invitation's actions menu under Pending invitations.
- Select Resend invitation for a pending or expired invitation when that action is available.
- Select Cancel invitation to invalidate a pending invitation when that action is available.
Cancel invitations that are no longer needed before sending replacements.
Seat limits
An organization's plan can limit how many people may join. Pending invitations can also affect whether another invitation is allowed.
If Sumyro reports that the seat limit has been reached, review Settings → Plans or ask someone who manages billing to increase the available seats. You can also cancel an unneeded pending invitation before trying again.
Troubleshooting
Invite Members is missing
Your role does not allow new invitations. Ask an organization owner or administrator to send the invitation or update your role.
The recipient cannot accept
Confirm that they opened the most recent invitation and signed in with the exact email address used in the invite.
The invitation expired
Use Resend invitation if the action is available. Otherwise, cancel the old invitation and send a new one.
No invitation email arrives
Confirm the address in Pending invitations, ask the recipient to check spam or junk folders, then resend the invitation.
See Accept or troubleshoot an invitation for the recipient's steps.
